From an architectural standpoint, the proposed residence for S. Sohan Singh is a balanced synthesis of traditional elegance and contemporary practicality. The structure is characterized by symmetrical massing and the strategic use of brick cladding as an accent against the pastel exterior, creating a warm and timeless aesthetic. The two-story design features spacious balconies with elegant metal railings, enhancing the facade’s rhythm and providing practical outdoor spaces for leisure. Sloped roofing with red shingles adds a regional touch while ensuring durability and efficient rainwater runoff.

A notable aspect of this design is its proportionality and attention to visual harmony. The central columns support a cantilevered upper balcony, offering both structural integrity and a grand entrance presence. Tall arched windows and shutters not only invite ample natural light but also improve cross-ventilation throughout the home. The gatehouse, with its tiled gable roof and finely detailed metal gate, establishes a welcoming threshold that complements the main residence’s character. The landscape at the front edge softens the perimeter wall and adds vibrancy through color-coordinated plantings.
